Božidar Bandović is a Montenegrin former professional footballer and current football manager, widely respected for his tactical discipline and footballing insight. Born on August 30, 1969, Bandović played as a right defender-winger, beginning his career in the former Yugoslavia before moving abroad to compete at higher levels of European football.He start at his home team Sutjeska Niksic and played for national team Yugoslavia U14 to U21.

A key phase of his playing career unfolded in Greece, where he represented top-tier clubs including Olympiacos and PAOK. While at Olympiacos win championship 1996, Bandović featured in the UEFA Champions League, playing against some of Europe’s elite, including a memorable encounter with Real Madrid at the Santiago Bernabéu. His time in Greece was marked by consistent performances and a deep understanding of the game at a tactical level, which laid the foundation for his future in coaching. Earlier in his career, Bandović had already tasted success with Red Star Belgrade, winning the Yugoslav First League title in 1994–95 and lifting two national cups in 1993 and 1995.
